Rohde & Schwarz has won a service contract from Radio Communications of Thailand (AEROTHAI) to provide the VoIP-enabled ATC Communication and Remote Monitoring Solution (RCMS) from the CERTIUM product range.
Rohde & Schwarz and local partner W&J Engineering provided and installed 195 VHF/UHF ATC software-defined radios and RCMS II software on a turnkey basis throughout Thailand. Among them, the R&S 4200 series and R&S M3SR 4400 series radios have been delivered in thousands and their reliability has been fully proved. The R&S RCMS II is an umbrella software solution that enables engineers to monitor CERTIUM radios, telephony equipment and other components that support the SNMP protocol, such as routers and switches, from one or more locations.
