Networking method of CDMA wireless data transmission module data center

There is also a lot of information about the networking methods of the CDMA wireless data transmission module data center. There are roughly the following networking methods: data line connection, VPN tunnel connection, ADSL (or dial-up) connection, fixed IP connection, etc. This article mainly Introduces the fixed IP connection method. Its network topology is as follows:

Figure 1 CDMA data center networking – fixed IP connection

If the network is formed in the way shown in Figure 1, the advantage is that the networking method is simple. Its drawbacks are obvious: first, the waste of resources is serious, because the public network IP is very limited, a company or an enterprise generally only has one public network IP, then the various services including the data center (such as www It is almost impossible to assign a public IP to the Internet; secondly, there are certain security risks when the data center is directly connected to the Internet. Once the virus in the network infects the data center, the consequences will be very serious. . So I suggest using the following networking methods to avoid these drawbacks. Its network topology is shown in Figure 2.

Figure 2 CDMA data center networking – fixed IP connection (NAT application)

The comparison between Figure 1 and Figure 2 shows that a network soft router is added in front of the data center, because the soft router of windows 2000 server (or win 2003 server) provides port mapping function (NAT), which can be used to achieve a variety of services. There are many ports, up to more than 20,000, which theoretically cannot be used up, so we can map multiple services to multiple ports on the routing server. In this way, the various services provided by the internal LAN can realize the role of sharing a public IP to provide services for the external network, and also play a role in self-protection, killing two birds with one stone.

Use NAT to map ports

On Windows 2000 Server, enter the “Routing and Remote Access” (Routing and Remote Access) service from the management tool. If it is the first time to enter, first configure and enable routing so that the routing server can be used, and then perform the following operations.

1. Add NAT protocol. Right-click “General”, -> “New Routing Protocol”.

2. Select “Network Address Translation (NAT)” in “New Routing Protocol” and click “OK”.

Figure 4

3. In this way, there is an additional “Network Address Translation (NAT)” in “IP Routing”.

4. Right-click “Network Address Translation (NAT)” and add “New Interface”.

Figure 5

5. Select “Internet Connection” (that is, the connection to the Internet) in “New Interface for Network Address Translation (NAT)”.

6. In “Network Address Translation – Internet Connection Properties”, select “Public interface connected to the Internet”, and check “Translate TCP/UDP headers (recommended)”.

7. In the “Special Port” option table, the data connection protocol you need to be directed (whether it is TCP or UDP, we choose TCP here) is provided. After selecting, “Add”.

8. “Add special port”, here is the core of setting port mapping, which port of the NAT host is mapped to which port of the intranet host is set here. Our setup is as follows:

Figure 7

It should be noted here that it is also the key place for our settings, that is, to understand the meaning of the settings in the above figure, the incoming port is any port number on the computer of the routing server in (Figure 2) (be careful not to duplicate the port number of other services) , the setting here is 8081, you can also set other (such as 2020); the private address should be set to the IP address of the CDMA data center in (Figure 2); the outgoing port is what you set for the CDMA data center in (Figure 2) The port number (2020), which is 80 in the above picture, is wrong. At this point, we have completed all the settings. Its function is to map the public IP (222.134.214.226) on the routing server to the data center (192.168.0.2) through its port 2020.

Application results

Configure the IP of each CDMA wireless data transmission module to 222.134.214.X, and set the port number to 2020 (the same as the mapping port set by the router). The test results show that the CDMA data center in the internal LAN can receive CDMA wireless data. The data sent by the transmission module has achieved our purpose.
