Google plans ahead, Android 11 has completed six preview versions

Recently, it was learned that Google released the first developer preview version of Android 11 ahead of schedule this year, and plans to launch six preview versions before the official release in Q3 2020.

Google has now pushed a “patch” update to Android 11 Developer Preview 2.1 (Developer Preview 2.1), which fixes many bugs and issues that users encountered when using the Developer Preview.

Fixed an issue where the Wear OS app could crash when trying to pair a Wear OS device;

Fixed an issue that could crash after tapping the search bar in the Settings app.

Google’s Android 11 system image is available for the Pixel 2, Pixel 3, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 4 series, as well as the Android Emulator. Through manual download and flashing, Developer Preview 2.1 is still only available for developers and not suitable for daily or consumer use.

Fixed an issue where long-pressing would crash when selecting an element in the recent app overview;

Fixed an issue where the status bar could crash in the background if the status bar components were not all initialized;

Fixed an issue where SystemUI created too many WindowTokens causing confusion and dropped frames when navigating and swiping the app.
