Heavy! CES 2021 cancels offline events!Go to the online experience

In view of the fact that there is no obvious sign of improvement in the current epidemic situation in the United States, the Consumer Product Manufacturers Association, CTA, announced today that the 2021 International Consumer Electronics Show CES will all be held online, using an online all-digital format experience. CES 2021 will take place from January 6-9, 2021.

The new all-digital format will make significant changes to the show, which could represent a daunting effort by the organizers. Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of CTA, said:

“Amid the pandemic and growing global concerns about the spread of COVID-19, it is impossible to safely gather tens of thousands of people in Las Vegas in early January 2021 to attend and do business offline. Shifting to an all-digital platform in 2021, we can provide a unique experience that helps our exhibitors connect with existing and new audiences.”

CTA also revealed that CES 2022 will return to Las Vegas offline. “In 2022, our plan is to have a mix of online and in-person events in Las Vegas, and build on what we’ve learned from 2021 to have even better online events,” said Gary Shapiro.

CES began in 1967 and is hosted by the Consumer Electronics Manufacturers Association (CTA), aiming to promote the close integration of cutting-edge Electronic technology and modern life. CES has always been a stage for global innovation Display. It is held in Las Vegas in early January every year, with an audience of 180,000 people. It is a window for major electronic product companies in the world to release product information, display high-tech levels and advocate future lifestyles. .
