Nvidia’s acquisition of Arm is backed by the world’s three largest chip giants

Nvidia’s rival Qualcomm and tech giants including Microsoft have expressed concerns about the deal, fearing that Nvidia could limit the supply of Arm’s technology to rivals or raise prices after the acquisition. Japan’s SoftBank Group is currently seeking to sell Arm, which provides its chip designs to more than 500 companies that develop their own chips.
